2024 NFL odds: Jets’ Breece Hall has 3rd-shortest odds to hit 1,000 yards, Giants’ Devin Singletary near bottom

Bookmakers setting 2024 NFL odds seem bullish on New York Jets running back Breece Hall recording his first 1,000-yard season as he has the third-shortest odds (-175) to reach the acclaimed mark roughly one week before the start of the new season.

Gang Green’s burgeoning back is entering his third season in the NFL where he came tantalizingly short last year when he rushed for 994 yards with five touchdowns.

In what is expected to be a loaded Jets offense led by future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Hall is going to be the bellcow of the backfield where new levels of success seem like a given behind a rebuilt offensive line.

Across the hall at MetLife Stadium, the Giants’ new No. 1 running back, Devin Singletary, does not have such short odds. In fact, he is ranked No. 20 out of 31 rushers initially listed by DraftKings.

The 26-year-old is coming off a career-best 898 rushing yards last season with the Houston Texans but now has the difficult responsibility of filling the void left by Saquon Barkley’s departure behind an offensive line that was also rebuilt but understandably has a ton of question marks surrounding it.

To add further insult to injury, the former Giants star, Barkley, has the fourth-shortest odds to reach 1,000 yards with his new team, the Philadelphia Eagles, whom Big Blue will see plenty of in the coming years.
