The New York Giants’ nightmare quarterback carousel in 2025 keeps on churning, with Drew Lock undergoing an MRI after injuring his shoulder during Sunday’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
The veteran backup made his return under center after missing Week 15 against the Baltimore Ravens with a heel and elbow injury in just the latest swap at the position. Tommy DeVito, who was initially named the starter after the team cut Daniel Jones during the Week 11 bye, first suffered a forearm injury in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then a concussion against the Ravens.
Lock completed 22 of 39 passes for 210 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the 34-7 loss to the Falcons, which was the a franchise-record 10th straight loss to drop New York to an NFL-worst 2-13 on the season.
If Lock is unable to go, DeVito is expected to return considering he was cleared to serve as New York’s backup on Sunday in Atlanta.
