CHECK IT OUT: Mets induct Al Leiter, Howard Johnson, Gary Cohen, Howie Rose into team Hall of Fame, honor Jay Horwitz

QUEENS — Prior to Saturday afternoon’s matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays, the New York Mets inducted former players Al Leiter and Howard Johnson along with TV and radio voices Gary Cohen and Howie Rose into the team’s Hall of Fame, located at Citi Field.

Long-time public relations director Jay Horwitz was also honored with the Mets Hall of Fame Achievement Award.
