Suni Lee’s brilliant Olympics continued on Sunday with a bronze in the women’s uneven bars — her third medal of the 2024 Summer Games in Paris after winning gold in the team all-around and bronze in the individual all-around.
The final gymnast to go in the eight-woman field, Lee’s 14.800 narrowly edged Belgium’s Nina Derwael (14.766) of Belgium for the bronze.

Kaylie Nemour of Algeria, who has continued her ascent as one of the premier gymnasts on the planet, took gold with a 15.700. China’s Qiyuan Qiu came away with silver behind a score of 15.500.
The 23-year-old Lee now has six Olympic medals on her ledger after winning women’s all-around individual gold, team all-around silver, and bronze on the uneven bars at the Tokyo Games in 2021.
She becomes just the 23rd women’s gymnast and the fourth American ever to win six or more Olympic medals.
Lee has an opportunity to win career medal No. 7 on Monday when she and Simone Biles go for the podium on the balance beam.
